I am getting the following error when I am executing the report in reportbuilder.
==
For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors
----------------------------
Cannot create a connection to data source 'dataSource1'.
----------------------------
An error has occurred during report processing.
==

But I do not have the datasource 'dataSource1' in my model.

TIA

It must be attached to the report somewhere....

go back into vis studio and check the data sources dropdown box...

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.

Please read FAQ222-2244 before you ask a question

NO. I am sure I do not have that source.
I turned on the remote debugging and I see some different error.

Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.

I think it is something related to credentials but I am not sure how to do this?
TIA

Well RS thinks you have that data source - the clue is in the error message:

Cannot create a connection to data source 'dataSource1'.

check the data sources attached to the report either in Vis Studio or in the Report Manager interface. Try checking 1st before responding this time. Go into Vis Studio and check the data sources drop down list. Respond with a list of the data sources attached to the report. If it is not in there, go to the Report Manager interface and select a report. Click on "Properties" and then "Data Sources" and respond with which data sources are there....

datasource1 could be the wrong server name. Change that to the correct server and with valid credentials.

Thanks

...but the OP is saying they don't have a "DataSource1" rather than they do have it but it ain't working...
