HI All,

I'm new to Accpac and now i have to create a macro to call my crystal report. I keep on getting "Report Error Occured" message when i try to call for one of my report.

Please advice urgently....
& thanks in advance.

Take a look at thread631-690724 for some example and discussion on calling reports from a macro.

If you are still stuck then post your relevant macro code and we will see if we can't notice any errors.

Take Care,

Hi,

I hit the "Report Error" again but this time it is slightly strange.

When i run my macro on the server, it works perfectly but when i tried running the same macro on a client pc, I hit the "Report Error" message. I really hope somebody could help!

I'm running accpac 5.2.

Check for any hard coded paths, or other values, in the report. Paths or values that are correct on your server but do not exist in your clients environment.

Hi,

I'm using a sql views for the report. Do you think there's any reference i neet to set or anything like that?

I actually recreate the report without using views and it works on both client & server. So what do you think?

I think that the important thing is that you got the report to work.

The views must have been dependant on something on or with the server. May be as simple as user rights to the views or more in depth with references to objects. It's hard to say.
