Hello,

I regularly create reports in Crystal XI and export them as pdf files. Instead of this, I would like to publish them on our intranet so that anyone can access it anytime and can also utilise features such as Drill-down.

Please can anyone guide how to go about doing this? I have some experience in using IIS and believe there is a HTML feature in Crystal XL which I can benefit from.

Many Thanks,
Meghna

You could export to HTML if that's what you mean.

For scheduled distribution you can use Crystal Enterprise, now known as BOE, or you might use a 3rd party product to do so, some of which can even publish reports to PDF with bookmarks (for instance Visual Cut):

I think that you have a few options for this.

1. You can use Visual Cut as synapsevampire stated. It is a really good product, some of my clients are using it. It will schedule reports to be run and exported to PDF.

2. With Crystal Reports XI you have a basic subsciption to Crystalreports.com. If you just want to post reports there to be read with drill down features.

3. You can also look into RePORTAL which can allow you to reaview live reports via a web or intranet.

Also, the EXPORT to PDF function under Crystal Reports XI now includes an option to create PDF-bookmarks at the Group Levels so that the PDFs can be navigated in a similar fashion to the Group-Tree in the Crystal Viewer.

That might be the easiest solution for you to try first...
