I have a shared database used by about 4 users and a report which contains some calculated currency fields from a query.

On all but 1 of the users PCs, the currency symbol appears correctly on the report (dollars). But on on of the PCs, the currencies are displayed with the symbol for Irish Pounds.

I have already had someone from support look at the regional settings for that PC and they are set the same as the others so I think the problem may be with Access. What could be different on this user's PC to the other three which work fine?

Hi

I would have thought this was an international settings problem, do you trust IT support?

Are you SURE that the version of the mdb is the same on all four PC's?, could the offending PC have a different version of the MDB, in which the partivualr field(s) have specific formats in the field properties?

Yes, the mdb is the same because it is located on a shared drive from which everyone accesses it.

We're a pretty small IT department so we all know each other and I trust my colleagues accross the room. So I'm sure if they say they checked the settings then it must be okay.

Hi

Ok just checking the obvious, it is always a good idea in my experience.
