Hi,

I'm using CRXI. Against a Teradata database.
No CR patches fixes or anything have been installed.

I developed a report in developer on my PC. Report was developed on 11x17 landscape with 1/2 inch margins all the way around. Default network printer setup on my PC supports 11x17 via manual feed.

I view the report on my PC and I can see all columns.

I publish to CRES on our Windows 2000 server and run the report via InfoView using the DHTML viewer. The report doesn't display 4 far right columns.

The server had up until about an hour ago its default printer set to a different network printer (also supports 11x17 via manual feed). NOTE: The server does have networked to it the same printer as I have on my PC. So I changed the default printer on the server to the same as my PC. I deleted the report from CRES and republished it. Ran the report again - it still cuts off 4 far right columns.

NOTE: Does this with all viewers available in InfoView.

Went into the repot setup area via admin and played around with the Print settings but that didn't fix the problem.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Did you try the ActiveX viewer? DHTML is sometimes unforgiving.

Yes,

I attempted this with all viewers. None worked.

I've had a similar problem using a label printer where the server default printer settings had to be set-up identical to the printer settings used developing the report. Try changing the default printer settings on the server to 11 x 17 landscape. Even though I've been told it doesn't make a difference, that was the only way to get the viewer to display correctly for the label printer (also networked).

Thanks for the help your tip led me to a resolution!!!

When I first developed the report the only thing I did to get an 11x17 canvas for report development was select 11x17 in File-->Page Setup in the Paper Size section. What I did not do is go a step further. When in the File-->Page Setup window there is a Properties button in the Printer Options section. I never clicked that button which brings up another Page Setup window with a Properties button that takes you to your Printers Properties window. When in there I specified 11x17 and I set the paper source to Stack Bypass (printer doesnt' have a drawer for 11x17). I clicked OK all the way back to my report screen and saved the report. I then republished to CRES and the report displayed properly. NOTE: I did not have to logon to the server where CRES is installed (and this report is published to) and go to Start-->Settings-->Printers, choose properties on the printer I'm using and make the default paper size 11x17.

So when developing a report that will be publishd to CRES on a server...
1)
Specify the paper size in CR Developer via File-->Page Layout.
2)
When in CR Developer File-->Page Layout click the Properties button to get to your Printer Properties screen and select the same paper size there.
3)
Make sure the same printer that was used with CR Developer is available to CRES.

Thanks
