Okay, I'm not sure if this is possible. If you have a report and it contains lets say sales information for different customers. It includes their name, address, phone number, and a listing of all of the dates of their recent sales. Some users have 1 others have 5.

To display this in a report I currently created a grouping on customerID. In the header placed the common information such as name, address, etc. and then put the date field in the detail section so it lists them out. However, the users don't want to view it that way. They want to view it more in a table view with all the necessary info and then the listing of dates in the same row yet just extend down the page. I've set it up to look like this in design view however I since the dates are in the detail, there is always a gap between the header row and the detail.

If I put all of the information in the detail section, then it displays all the customer info multiple times. Is there any way to hide duplicate information between the records? I don't see a way to get rid of the gap in the first scenario.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

The text box displaying the customer name has a property of 'Hide Duplicates'. Set this to 'Yes'. If the data is the same as the previous record, the control will be hidden.

Any good ?

Very nice! I knew there had to be an easy fix for this. Thanks!
