Report Data Sorted by Month 1

I know how to sort by date, but could I sort (or break) by month. For example, I need to report data on number of hip replacements and knee replacementsper month. I would like to present data as:

January 2004
Hip Repacements 45
Knee Replacements 28

February 2004
Hip Replacements 38
Knee Replacements 28

etc.

I am able to do the calculations, but looking for help on sorting by month.

I'm using Crystal 8.0

Insert a group on your date field and in the group screen you will have an option to choose "The section will be printed..." and the drop down box will give you the selection "for each month". Then you can also choose customize group name->use a formula->x+2 and enter:

totext({table.date},"MMMM yyyy")
