I want to know if there is a way to supress a control box if there is no value for one record. I know how to make a blank appear with an IIF statement, but this is not what I need. I need to eliminate the blank space. Thanks in advance.

Supress??? Filter??? hmmmmm, try using filters...go to the report properties and alter the following:

Filter On = Yes
Filter = Not IsNull([Value])

Change [Value] to the the name of the field you want checked for nulls.

Set the height of the control box to 0" (or as close as you can define to 0) and the can grow property to true. That way, if the contents of the control box is null it will take no space and therefore not print a blank line.
