We need to create a report which shows only records from master table that NOT HAVE A MATCHED RECORD in the secondary (child) table.

If you use a left outer join between you 2 tables it will print every record where there is a match and every record from the main table which has no match from the child table. You can then supress the records which have a match.
The SQL joins are explained in the online help in Crystal.
LindaC
lcastner@co.orange.ny.us

Thank you LindaC for advise.
But this solution is not exactly solve our problem.
We are using Dbase (.dbf) tables and can't use SQL on it.
Is there another way (using formulae of CR or somthing like this)?

In menu Report¦Edit Selection Formula¦Report will bring up 'Record Selection Formula Editor'. How about:

       Mast-key <> child-key

LindaC
lcastner@co.orange.ny.us
