This is a two part question.
- I am building a report in Report Builder 3.0.
- I have one datasource (an MS Analysis Services cube) with two datasets.
- The first dataset has a single value using one parameter to filter for a single location and a date parameter to filter for single day of the year.
- The second dataset uses an identical parameter to filter for the same single location and a different set of date paramaters to filter for a range of dates, the result of which is a series of values, one for each day in the date range.
- By selecting the parameter checkboxes when filtering in the each dataset it is creating the parameters in the report design
QUESTION 1:
How can I use just one filter for the location parameter in the report design but apply it to both datasets?
QUESTION 2:
How can I use the "end date" parameter from my second dataset as the date parameter for the single date of the year in my first dataset?
