report based on other database 1

Hey

I have 2 databases, one with new data, and one containing archived data.

Every once in a while, the new data is archived (and stored in the othere database).

Now I need to create a report, based on both databases. The report needs to be in the 'new' database.
Is it possible to base the report on a table in the archive database, and if so... how?

Create a linked table in the new database pointing to the table in the old one, then use a UNION query to bring in data from both.
