Hi
I have a report that contain a subreport in it.
The report and the subreport receive both the same parameters. My Stored procedure pass only the parameters for the report. How could I pass the same parameters of the report to the subreport to have the value. Does it have a way in Crystal report to tell the subreport.parameters = report.parameters somewhere?
Thanks in advance

I just saw something.
I got error while I was trying to execute my report.
Error 0: WARNING: No default set for parameter 13, Pm-mods_rpt_certificateAnalysis8;1.item. C:\Blackbird\E Drive\Tools\Tools402\Apps\RunCrystal\RunReport.cpp: 523 [2260]..

Now I just realize what's happening.
this :pm-mods_rpt_certificateAnalysis8;1.item, is a parameter in the subreport that I have.
I guess that I don't send any value to it when I'm trying to execute my report.
But this value is supposed to come from my report.
How can I set its value = to a field that come from my report?
Thanks in advance

Link the subreport parameter to the main report parameter.
Right click on the subreport and selct the "Change Subreport Links" option.

It is already set to my report parameters...

why does it tell me that it have no set default?
I don't really have experience with subreport. I know that the links are there between my report.field and subreport.field. But I don't know now what I have to do...

Are you executng this from an application or from Crystal Reports?
What steps did you use to set the subreport to link to the main report?

The thing is that when I'm trying to do the preview in crystal report that's seems to work as I entered all my parameters to NULL.
When I'm trying to execute it from an application it gives me error.
FOr the step to build the subreport ...it is not me who created it. So I don't know about it...

If the report works in CR but no in the application, then there is probably a problem in the application oode. I would post this question in the Integration forum.
