Report and Subreport Headers

All, I have 3 subreports in a main report.

I have a form that could open either an individual subreport or the main report containing all 3 subreports.

I need to set the header (either page or report), so that the headers for the subreports are seen on every page regardless of whether I am opening a single subreport or a main report with all subreports in it.

What I have found so far is that if I use the Report Header, the subreport header is visible on the first page of the main report. If I use a page header, the header is visible on all pages if I open only the subreport, but it is not visible on the main report at all?
