HI Every one

I'm look for ideas on how to solve an issue I'm having after I do an update

I have 6 computers in differnt locations around the building, some using network printers and some using local printers

There is a laser printer and label printer in each location all with diffent names. so each time I do an update i have to reset the printer names for each report or they get the this report was not formatted for the printer error or worse.

at this point I'm doing 1 to 2 updates a day so I'm having to reset 10 reports on 6 machines a couple times aday.

any ideas on how to get eliminate the error messages and have the right printers autoselected would be greatfully welcomed

If you are using Access 2002 or later, you can program the new printer object to do pretty much whatever you want without worrying about saved settings. Ironically, the saved settings was a pretty good feature that mysteriously quit working in 2002 and later; this has supposedly been fixed by hotfix & service packs since.
