Report Alerts

I am using CR 8.5 and pulling the reports through a CR Viewer in Access 2000. Can I have the alerts pop up when the report comes up? If so how? If I run the report in design view I get the alerts, but if I run the report through the viewer the alerts don't come up. Help me Please.

The alerts don't show in the viewer in the same way they do in the designer - you have to code it. Here's the whitepaper, with some sample code:
