Report~2.exe application error after installing sms patch

I get this popup error after running the latest patch for SMS 2003..

This has happened before and I found a workaround..

When you click ok, a send error report screen comes up, followed by a window stating:

"sms reporting encountered a problem and needed to close"

This cycles over and over and doesn't go away.

Has anyone found a fix for this?
