I have two websites, an old one and a new one, each with a unique IP. I had to switch the domain name from the old to the new, as the old one is being phased out. I'm using a subdomain of our main network domain name (e.g., store.mycompany.com as opposed to and have pointed the subdomain to the new IP with my hosting service.
On computers outside of our network domain, I can put in the subdomain name and access the new site, but from inside our network domain (e.g., mycompany.com), it's still going to the old site when using the domain name. Using just the IP however, I can access the new site.

I've Googled, searched this site and a couple others, and also tried getting an answer from our domain name registrar but haven't had any luck. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Change the record in your DNS to point to the new IP address.

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

There are no more PDC's! There are DC's with FSMO roles!
