Per my CIO I pointed an existing company URL to and updated URL for the corporate office.

Apparently there is an IP.aspx file under the original URL that now does not work - how do I repoint that aspx file to the new URL?

I have tried to add new web and Virtualy Directory from file (pointing file location to the original location) and I see the web.config file however it does not recognized but it is not working. When I browse it defaults to XML file types, if I choose all files I see the web.config but I can not import the configuration.

How can I change to domainname2.com\IP.aspx

This is new territory for me - any help would be appreciated.

If the file exists on the new server then it should already be redirected. If it doesn't exist you'll need to add it to the site.

Actually it is on the same web server.
I just don't know how to move or point the existing file to one of the other websites we have on our web server.
