I have never used this feature in a rule: Reply using a specific template.

I have an 'autoresponder' I am trying to create...but where are tehse templates? I want to create my own 'template' but have no idea where I edit them.

Please help!

Open Outlook & start a new e-mail message. Type the subject & body, but leave the recipient empty. Then File, Save As, change the file type to Outlook Template.

Is it possible to have these 'templates' insert the person's first and last name automatically?

Do you mean the first & last name of the person that you're trying to autorespond to? I'm not sure if this is possible, but if it were, some VBA would certainly be required. However, assuming that it even it possible, what would you expect to happen if the original sender didn't have their first & last name included within the e-mail header?

Good point.

Well...

Is it possible to have the REPLY email be sent from an different outlook account?

Example...someone sends an email to me (hubie@outlook.com) and i have an auto-reply that says "Hubie is not here. Please reply to this email to contact someone in the office" and the reply comes from the email account (staff@outlook.com).

Just wondering if this is possible

Also, can I send attachments this way?

Bump...

Thanks,

Hubes

I don't think that a reply could be sent from a different account, but instead of having the original sender reply to a reply, why not have your template ask them to forward the original message to staff@outlook.com (Or better yet, create another rule to do that automatically).

Do you mean to send a single attachement to everyone or are you referring to different attachments based on some criteria about the original sender? If you're talking about a single attachment for everyone, try saving your template with an attachment.
