Gang,

Here is an interesting dilemma.

I have set up an account called suggestions@mydomain.com. This is a generic email address that a client uses to field internal and external company suggestions.

I have set up Exchange to deliver mail to the suggestions mailbox as well as to forward to another user (lets call her Sally@mydomain.com)

What Sally would like to do is to reply to the email that is delivered to her through the Suggestions account with the the suggestions@mydomain.com showing as the sender. She does not want to reply to the incoming messages with Sally@mydomain.com, but with suggestions@mydomain.com.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ken

This is what we do

In the mailbox for suggestions, add Sally as full control.

Then have Sally add the suggestions mailbox to her outlook profile.

On sally's outlook, have her click view and then check the 'from' field.

Now when she creates a new email, she will have a From: section where she can put in the suggestions mailbox name. When the email is sent, it will appear to be from suggestions@companyname.com

If you use the send on behalf, the email will say its from suggestions@companyname.com on behalf of Sally.

Oops...also forgot to mention...Sally uses OWA (2003) only. Therefore no Outllok profiles are available.

Sorry for the confusion.
