Is it possible to have mails sent out have the alternate (Custom) recipients email address show as the default reply address instead of the actual address in the users mailbox?

I have users with alternate recipients address setup in the delivery option and would like to use that address instead.

Try to add that alternate recipient address for the user: exchange administrator/recipients/user/email address, add address and click on "set as reply address".
