Hello
Have tried all i know & am pulling my hair out.

I am trying to make a PARTIAL Replica using the Partial Replica Wizard & am returning the full data set. I have selected one table (L_Site) and a single field (Number = 1) but replica db has Number =1 and 2 and 3 etc

Is there some error handling routine that needs to be enabled or some other setting I am missing??

Help please

I suspect this question would be better asked in one of the Database-specific forums rather than the General DB discussion. However, since I am not familiar with the terminology you are using, I can't point you to the right forum.

hi johnherman-
thanks for you suggestion. The question relates to Access database replication and syncronization. I am not sure which formum to use??
a snippit from microsoft-
Replication needs a methodology to uniquely identify various items such as each record, table, and replica in a replicated database. The identifier is a GUID (Globally Unique Identifier) created by the Microsoft Jet database engine in such a manner as to guarantee uniqueness across space and time. GUIDs are not unique to Jet or replication; many programs create and use GUIDs. For example, the Windows® operating system assigns a GUID to every ActiveX control installed on your system.
When a database is converted to a replica set, several fields are added to each table, including a field named s_GUID. GUIDs are created by using a combination of the network node ID, a time value, a clock sequence value, and a version value. For more detailed information on how GUID’s are created, please see the Database Replication white paper.

If that clears things up or "helps" = i will be surprised, but that's why these formuns are so valuable. You thoughts appreciated. Thanks again.
