Dear Friends,
I have Domain Controller Active Directory on windows 2000 server, now I want to buy a new server, but how to take the all active directory users and there password and all things from old 2000 server to new 2003 server .
I post this question many time but no one gave me a right result, plz i need steps how to do it.

First you have to run adprep and forestprep from the 2nd CD of the 2003R2 CD's. You do this on your current schema master. Once that is done, you simply dcpromo the 2003 server into your domain, allow replication to occur naturally (give it 24 hours), then you'll have all of the accounts show up on the 2003 ADUC.

There are a ton of threads on this subject here and a simple Google search would have pulled up plenty of MS KB's on how this is done.

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.
