replication (in sql 2000)

hi all,

i'm replicationing between 2 databases on 2 different servers. how can i tell that replication is actually working?? the type of replication is "snapshot" and the distribution agent updates the subscription every 5 minutes.

Insert a record in one of the tables on the distribution database and check that in 5 minutes, the same record appears in the subscription database.
