replication in AD trust?

Hi all,

If I allow a one way trust between domains, does replication occur, or is the trusted domain simply allowed to access the AD information?

Actually, quite the opposite. I don't want any domain information replicated. All I want out of the trust relationship is that the external (DMZ) domain be able to utilize the internal domain for user authentification - but I am hoping the AD information stays internal and does not get replicated to the DMZ domain.
