Got a bit of a problem, I understand the problem but no how to solve it. We have two domain controllers connected to each other. They are at remote sites and talk over a perminant RRAS VPN.
The machines obviously have to IPs, one is that if the internet connection & the other is the local network IP.
Problem is, both the IPs of the domain controller get populated into DNS, and thus Active Directory replication sometimes resolves the internet IP of the other Domain Controller and fails to replicate.
Any ideas?
