I had a KCC problem, so I deleted the replication links between my bridgehead servers in Sites and Services and let Active Directory re-create automatically, which shuold have fixed it. I show in both domains that the changes replicated. Before I had to PING using FQDN server.domain.com, now I can ping by just the server name.
These domains are separate domains in same forest.
My problem now is that and this event.

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: NTDS KCC
Event Category: (1)
Event ID: 1265
Date: 9/28/2004
Time: 1:54:06 PM
User: N/A
Computer: DC3
Description:
The attempt to establish a replication link with parameters

Partition: CN=Configuration,DC=husa,DC=com
Source DSA DN: CN=NTDS Settings,CN=DR2,CN=Servers,CN=DR,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=husa,DC=com
Source DSA Address: 2e13cd9b-74ab-4f0e-b3dc-87f3b7309f09._msdcs.husa.com
Inter-site Transport (if any): CN=IP,CN=Inter-Site Transports,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=husa,DC=com

failed with the following status:

The DSA operation is unable to proceed because of a DNS lookup failure.

The record data is the status code. This operation will be retried.

Do I need a SRV record under _msdcs section in DNS for DR2, which is DR2.DR.com?

I have each bridgehead server, also a DNS server as a secondary to the other for each domain.
