Replicating Problem using a desktop & Laptop computer

I have a user that uses both a Laptop and desktop computer. He is able to replicate just fine but is having a weird issue.

If the user reads a message on the desktop and then switches back to laptop and does a replication on the laptop (so he can attend a meeting). The Problem: The message he just got done reading on the desktop is still marked unread on the laptop even though he just read it on desktop and did a replication. Is it possible to have the messages read on either the desktop or laptop to be marked read on the other computer(Desktop or laptop) after he completes a replica.

I have located the answer to my problem.

I had to add REPLICATOR_SYNC_UNREAD=-1 to the Notes.ini file

And you can set it in the database preferences as well with the 'replicate unread marks' to all servers...
