Is there any way to just replicate a folder structure from one Livelink instance to another? No content, just the folders.

We have an EFS of >1TB, containing sensitive data that is not all allowed to be transfered to a test system.

I'm still looking for the best way to replicate data between to livelink systems.

Do you have Object Exporter and Object Importer.I would export the data out delete all the document nodes or whatver you need eliminated on that file and run the importer.

If you have webreports then you can write a query to traverse just the folder hierarchy and use that as input for the object importer.

If you know oscript then a simple nodecrawler can be used to just write out the folders and the resultant file as a OI control file or juat as an xml export file.

Just my thoughts on monday.Tools like the Global cents product or syntergy may also offer you some degree of management between two instances.

Contact me if you would like to discuss a pricing structure and I can call some friends who have done this and get them done for you as well at a lower cost.

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?
