On a regular Document Library database, I have some Notes documents that are around 40Mb. They consist of text, attachments and the occasional picture.
When Notes replicates, I cannot work out why sometimes, it takes ages to replicate (as it is presumably uploading the whole document) but on other occasions, it is very quick (presumably just uploading the revision). This database does not use the "merge documents to avoid conflicts" option (I have spotted after the event that a replication conflict is always preceded by a lenghty replicate).
Any advice on how this actually works, so I can avoid lenghthy replications?
Thanks in advance.
