Here's my objective:

I want to be able to do replicated installs using a cdrw.
here's what I can do currently.

1. Make a bootable cdrom instead of using boot/root floppies

2. Copy the /stand and / filesystems using a cdrw and restore them to a different computer.

Here's my question, I want to do both steps 1 and 2 using only 1 cdrom. I have read the man pages for mkisofs and cdrecord on how to make a multi session cd but I am having difficulty trying to access anything other than the first session.

Any suggestions anyone may have would be great.

Just a note: the hardware on the other machines must be identical and you'll have licensing issue.

Yes, I understand about the hardware/licensing issues. We are replacing some aging hardware. Thanks for the post.
