Replay TSAR Machines-HELP

Guys
I have a number of TSAR machines connecting to a Witness Eyretel Databases. and a couple (not all) keep randomly dropping the connection. I do not see any errors on the desktop or server event logs. and the network has been checked out ok.

the TSAR is running MediaExpressNT on a windows 2000 desktop.

Hope a kind bright spark has got an idea what i can try next :)
