Hi guys, how do you replace a trunk card for norstar 1.o.Do you disable the card first taking the bad card out and inserting the new card in the proper slot than enable the new card or...? THANKS.

I'd never recommend "hot swapping" trunk cards. Do as Dasheen wrote and power off before changing trunk cards.

No. Unplugging 12x0's is OK. Your post wasn't showing on my PC at the time I was affirming Dasheen's post.

ok,i power down the system and swap trunk cards but i still have the same problem, apparently is something in the ksu or the bad cable(amphenol)or shorting out in the slot of the trunk card.I saw in the exp trunk module 12x0 an open slot, should i used it,then what should i do.THANKS.

Thanks ex...the longer Im off road the more I am unsure.

You can use the 12X0 sure....just reprogram anything related to that line.

As for issue replace Amp cable and/or BIX/66
Check for any bent or missing/broken pins on KSU where card slides in.

Otherwise I agree the issue would then be with the KSU mobo.

Presume issue is dead line on 0X32

Curly, you and me both. 3 months on my own now. I'd also suspect a bent pin in the connector behind the trunk card.
