replacing text via command-line 1

What I need to do is replace a pathname in an XML document once daily, automatically. A scheduled command-line script seems the way to go, but I know next to nothing about any such xml editors. There are multiple instances of the line throughout the document that will need to be changed to the same new path daily. Here is the line in the document to be replaced. Any help with this would be appreciated:

HandlingMethodString="\\terra-quasar\share\Thursday
 
Most command line XSL processors have a mechanism to pass named parameters to top-level parameters (<xsl:param> element). If you are using Microsoft, for example, download MSXSL from the Microsoft web site and follow its simple instructions. Learn how to write a simple XSL transformation here.
