Hi,

Is is possible to replace a paragraph tagged with a specific Paragraph Style with an in-line image using the paragraph text for the name of the image?. For example, the text "new_house.jpg" is formatted with the Paragraph Style "property" and I want Indesign to replace the text with an image called "new_house.jpg". This is repeated a couple of hundred times throughout a document. At the moment I am doing this manually but I'm sure there must be a way to automate this. Thanks for any assistance.

As far as I know - no.

However, if you're using the same image in multiple places on teh doc, you can create a Library (File.New/Library). Drag the image into open library window. Then just drag it from the library to the various parts of the doc.

This saves having to draw a picture box and place, or dragging the image into the doc and having to size it.
