Sorry for the simplicity of this question, but I cannot find the answer via manual or online support. I need to replace an I2002 phone either with a new (out of the box) or swap a working phone in order to troubleshoot the defective phone. Does the translations (DN/TN/IP) stay with the phone or is it in the line (PBX)? Can I just take a phone and plug it in to jack of troublesome phone and it gets all it's settings from the PBX, or do I need to reprogram new phone to communicate with the PBX? I am troubleshooting remotely otherwise I would just see what happens.
Thanks for your help.

Than you for the quick reply. Will instruct the user what they need to do.
