BCM 3.6 RAID system missing file- winroot/system32/ntoskrnl.exe - Nortel knowlege base said if error comes up on monitor on bootup to take the system IDE cable and connect directly to the Mirror drive to make it a single drive system and it came up.
Question is when installing the replacement drive I am going to move the working Mirror drive to the primary slot and put the new in the mirror slot and reconnect the RAID card back up. When the copy is going on do the phones come up and can be used. It's ok if I loose VM during copy.Customer is ok with that.
What stays up?

Found my own answer.

Note: RAID disk mirroring takes up to 3 hours to complete. The Business
Communications Manager system continues to operate normally during the disk mirroring
process. However, because disk mirroring occupies computing resources, Nortel Networks
recommends you perform disk mirroring during a period of low call traffic.
