Replacing Partner Messaging Rel 6 with Rel 7

Can I use partner messaging pc software to backup programming in the existing rel 6 using rel 6 pc software and restore the file to the rel 7 using the rel 7 pc software?

no you have to reprogram as far as I know, you can backup the greetings as a wave file and restore but the rest is not working.
I could be wrong though I have never tried but I also have never heard that anyone managed to do it

My feeling is that it won't work, but I really don't know for sure. Please post your results!

Well, I chickened out. I did the backup with rel 6, I was doing the restore with rel 7 and received a dialog box that read" you are installing an older version backup, do you want to continue.' This is where I clucked. I feel it will take the file, but I read somewhere I would lose a feature or (2), one example being a copy feature.
Sorry, I could not go through with it, I guess we will never know for sure unless someone here could post past experience.
