I have a partner ACS, 5 slots.
slot1 206
slot2 206
slot3 308
slot4 206
slot5 partner mail r5

there was a 400 module in slot 5 with no ;ine cords going to it
in #505 I changed X32,33,34,35 to a 2 and X38,39,40,41 to a 1
Before I changed the ports the calls ring on the phones for 4 rings and then to AA.
Now they ring and the 1st 4 line buttons light and the calls are picked up right away, the call is transfered to x 10.

38-41 are the correct ports, according to the modules you have listed. Double check the assignments in #505-7 just to be sure.

I'm not quite clear on the situation. Did you replace a Partner Mail (voicemail system that looks like a wall mounted computer) with a Partner Mail VS (R5)?

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

Oh, TTT replied before I posted. [bigsmile]

Make sure as TTT says that only 38-41 (if it has a 4-port license) are assigned. That is the reason that all lines light up. #505 is programmed incorrectly. If it is a 2-port mail vs, then un-assign 38/39 from #505 to make it work properly.

If everything is programmed correct in #505, it could be a ringer issue. I beleive you may have had to remove the line ringers from x38-x41 to make the VS R5 work on an ACS. To do so, from x10: Feature 00, Left Intercom twice, then right intercom once, enter 38, press each line until they are fast-flutter (no-ring), then right intercom and repeat for each extension.
