Hi,
I'd like to add another G/L segemnt in Accpac 5.5.
We currently use 3 segments but require 4.
I've created another account structure to cater for all 4 segemnts and set the accounts which are to be replaced by a 4 segemnt account to inactive.
I'm not an accountant - am I required to bring the transactions from the old account into the new account and can I do this in Accpac?
If I don't need to see the transactions I assume I just do a journal entry to bring the balance accross from the old account?
