replacing faulty and (registering) new PS to a TDE 100 switch 1

Avaya technician inherits Panasonic TDE100 integrated with CSIF8:

Here is the scenario that I have inherited:-
My customer has a KX-TDE 100 QSIG interfaced to an IP office 500 exclusively for the panasonic mobile extension features.
There are a total of 8 - KX-TD7685C hand sets(PS) of which 3 are defective and I have to replace these 3 defective - KX-TD7685C handheld on the TDE 100 switch. I have sourced the 3 replacement PS and now ready to attempt the task.

Please line item the steps sequentially if using a multiline dispay phonset to log in and complete the task.
I do not have the instruction manual and do not know where to start.
I suspect that I have to first of all login and navigate to the station configuration menus.

I think I may have to manually de register the faulty ones and then register the new ones to both the TDE100 switch and the Cell Stations on each floor.

You only need to reg it go the system

I have not done it through the handset but yes you will have to de- reg the old ones if they are not working you will have to force them when it fails to find them. Then re reg on the system
 
HI obtsystems,
can you perhaps point me to source of any instructions illustrating how to de-register old and register new PS handsets.I'm taking a 2hr driveout and will attempt to replace 3 faulty ones. I wondered if I will have to associate the handsets to extension numbers, then I will have to access the TDE100 switch and administrate down to the extensions settings.

Program 691 ps remove
program 690 ps reg
if you are replacing ps with latest kxtca 175/275 the system software will need to be ver 5, that needs a pc and programming tool
