Replacing Ericsson DECT Phone to other brand DECT phones

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to use other DECT phone such as PANasonic, NEC, Alcatel to replace Ericsson DECT phone system. The terminal and base stations remain using Ericsson type DECT phones.
 
yes, if other phones support CAP-Protocol. But we have the experience, that phones are working, but i.e. roaming does not work. Maybe Ericsson-CAP is not the same as CAP from other vendors...
 
Believe it or not all manufactures use their own proprietry protocols but non of them admit it.
This is why we experience some unusual behaviours when using third party telephone sets.
