Our Company may be replacing it's old CS1000 M SG with a new Avaya Aura Voip solution. We need to do the cut over in stages, floor by floor, building by building. Our CS1000M SG is Rls 6.0 but not voip. We need to tie the two PBXs together so that they can communicate as the M1 has all the working PRI's connected to it. If we run a tie trunk between them, using QSIG and a PRI, would that be sufficient? I assume that we would also need to add an MGATE card in the M1 for calls to/from voip to TDM. Any one have any experience with this or any ideas how best to do this?

A phase cut will be a nightmare but it can be done. If you use a PRI between the 2 switches you won't need a media card. If you use VOIP trunks between the 2 then you will need a media card. MGATE Card is for Call Pilot. What you will need is a MC32 or MC32S card to convert IP to TDM. If your putting in a whole new switch with VOIP why do a phased cutover?
