Replacing BDC - export shared drives?

I am trying to upgrade our BDC to a larger server. This is the first time I have been faced with this....

Other than backing all the data up and restoring it onto the new server I am unsure what other steps I need to do to make sure that the new server behaves like the old one.

Can anyone suggest a checklist of things I need to do before shutting down the current server and replacing it.
