replacing avaya 4621SW IP Phone

Hi when repllaing a broken 4621SP IP phone how do i get the new instrument to come up with the persons Ext ...what needs to be done when the phone just hangs and says enter command how can i put in the right Ext #

CRAFT menu

if I hit reset on phone does craft menu come up

If you press the * to program the 'enter command' comes up. Enter CRAFT.
