Hi, can anyone help me out with this one. We currently have the following setup; Two Servers, Both Domain Ctrl's, both GC Servers, both DNS Server's and the second server is also a Exchange 2000 Server.

Server One (Installed as First Server) Domain Ctrl. Active Directory GC Server DHCP Server DNS Server

Second Server (Installed as Additional Domain Controller) Domain Ctrl Active Directory GC Server DHCP Server DNS Server EXCHANGE SERVER 2000 (Luckily the users have not started to use the server so there is no mail etc)

The problem, the Exchage Server needs to be replaced totally as the Hardware has problems.

So far i have done the following; Switched off the current Exchange Server. Installed the new Win2k Server with the same settings as Server 2 was (I have not installed Exchage 2000 yet)

I need to know wheather there is anything else i need to do before i start installing Exchange onto the Domain, as the Active directory on Server 1 already thinks it has Exchange?

For example, when i installed Exchange for the first time i needed to do /forestprep and /domainpred first, is there a need and also a procedure to remove this if needed ?

The new server will have all the same settings when i do get to install it as the original server 2.

Thanks.
