Hi,
we have BCM 400 and I need to replace the phone in our office for the first time (T7316E). But when i replace the phone with a new same phone, the hand set is not working properly, I can hear the caller but the caller can not hear me. I tried another phone and it is doing the same thing.

I took the replacement phone from one of our office that also using BCM.

Is this phone "plug and play"?
Do i need to change something in the system so the handset can work properly?

I also submit this questions in the other BCM forum

Thank you

Sounds like 1 of the buttons is stuck, I have been having alot of phones with this problem lately. usually it's the orange release button, it looks ok but I keep snapping the key and it starts working.

And Yes, the phones are plug and play.

So i do not have to change the programming at all in system?

The bad phone that I replace is just showing number"1" in the screen. it does not show the caller ID? and After I workarount it. the screen is working again but I got a call again saying the phone now (sometimes) goes straight to VM.

It is just weird.
