Replacing a Frequency Generator (124D2) on a S8700

Does anyone have a manual on how to replace a freq gen? Our current one in our cabinet went bad and a replacement is on its way. It should arrive today but I'm not sure what the proper procedures are in replacing this part. Any assistance would be much appreciated!
