Hi,

Did the Checkpoint courses 1/2 years back and to be honest very rusty. we have a pair of Nokia / Checkpoint firewalls in a HA / VRRP Pair. The secondary died on me over the weekend. Nokia are delivering the replacement device sometime today and need to get it up and running again as a standy. Anybody no of any notes / advisories on how best to do this???

cheers, Lee.

Take it you have a management server with central licensing? if so you just build the box as normal chose distributed on the type of deployment, do the SIC seed.

then from the management server re-establish SIC then push the policy.
