Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me change out a non working (no audio) 6140 handset. I received the new unit and want to register it to the system (along with all info from the broken set)

Notes:

1) I do not have access to the WLAN manager and no one knows any info about this device.
2) The faulty 6140 set still turns on (and registers OK, just no audio.)
3) Opt 11 system running Rel 7.5 SW

My question is, what steps are required? Can all the registration be done from the set, without access to WLAN manager?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Usually this is done with the handset administration tool (HAT) and a charging station plugged into PC via USB
You plug the faulty phone in without the battery and copy the settings to the tool.
Then plug replacement phone in and copy the settings to it.
Boot the new phone up and put in node and TN.
You will see it register on the terminal
